What is Skin Bioremodeling?

A new multi-level bioremodeling injectable treatment indicated for contour redefinition and laxity remodeling of the face. It is not a filler or skin booster, as it doesn’t volumise. It firms, repairs and tightens the skin to give you a natural look. So there is no chance of looking overfilled.

The skin bioremodeling injectable acts through a corrective action spreading into your tissue like honey (up to 4cm diameter from point of injection) strengthening and firming natural and induced skin lines and damage.

It does this by intervening:

• in the physiological process of ageing tissue, the effects of which include reduced skin hydration, the alteration of elastic fibres and collagen, with loss of turgor and skin tone;

• in the dermal tissue repair process, in cases of acne or scars.

The skin bioremodeling treatment actually stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore the firmness of the skin.

What does the Treatment Entail?

Treatment consists of a classical five point injection technique in the targeted area. The product then integrates into the tissue. An initial cycle of two treatments 30 days apart. A third treatment may be required at your follow up appointment. As always, maintenance treatments are key and frequency is in accordance with the patient's degree and rate of ageing. Commonly treated areas include the face, neck, decolletage, knees and hands, but essentially anywhere you have skin.

The supplier says that approximately 80% of people are happy with two treatments and 20% require more treatments to reach their skin goals.

What are the Risks & Downtime?

As we always say at Skin Revolution Australia, “safe does not mean without risk”. Over 4.5 million procedures have been performed and no vascular occlusions have been reported. But we will always mention vascular occlusion in the risks.
